Brews in the Bosque
Saturday, August 13
4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Summer may be winding down, but we’re all for savoring every moment. Whether you live for local libations or just looking for something to do, bring the fam or your fur baby and join us for a beer.
We'll be serving up ice-cold cans of Wolf’s Ridge Brewing's most popular craft brews + a refreshing Commons Cocktail made with Middle West Spirits OYO Stonefruit Vodka + Lemonade. Tip one back, take in some tunes, and enjoy the backyard-meets-beer-garden vibe of this happy hour happening.
Fun for the whole family, come toss some cornhole bags, play with a parachute, build with the blue blocks or take a spin on the carousel, all for free. Dogs are welcome, we just ask that they stay leashed. Tortilla Mexican Street Food + Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams will be open, but feel welcome to bring in your own food for a picnic. Food trucks are TBD. Alcohol is not permitted to bring in to this event.
Music by local artists:
- 4:00pm to 5:45pm DJ Beezz spinning family-friendly tunes.
- 6:00pm to 8:00pm Liz Fisher, solo violinist/vocalist of the Cordial Sins.
This event is free to attend, no tickets required, and is happening in the southern end of the park near Rich Street. Parking is available at the Columbus Commons Main Garage at 55 E Rich Street, just a steps away.
Pro tip: afterward, swing by the Moonlight Market for some sidewalk shopping on Gay Street or check out Festival Latino at Genoa Park to round-out your evening Downtown.
