Our plan is approved by local safety officials, but just like the weather is different every day, our response may vary based on the unique conditions, timing, and event circumstances. Always keep a close eye on our social media accounts for the latest updates, but here’s how we generally respond to severe weather.  

• All of the concerts that are produced internally by Downtown Columbus, Inc. team are rain or shine, which means we won’t cancel just because it’s raining. 
• We have rocked out in the rain and will again. When persistent rain is forecasted, it’s best to be prepared. Dress accordingly and pack a poncho, rain jacket or small umbrella (golf umbrellas are a no-go). 
• When there’s a severe weather threat, we may need to evacuate the park, and delay, pause or cancel an event to keep patrons, vendors and artists safe. Once severe weather has exited the area, we’ll wait up to 30 minutes before returning to our regularly scheduled programming. We’re as eager to get back to the fun as anyone, but we appreciate your patience in these situations. 
• If you’re coming for the carousel, this ride can’t operate when it’s raining. We’ll also close the carousel if the forecast is showing severe weather.
