The countdown to summer fun has begun!  From food trucks to fitness, free shows to family events, we’ve got something for everyone, and we want to kick it off with YOU. Whether you’re a long-time supporter or new to our space, this is your chance to preview the best of what Columbus Commons offers.  

Join us on Thursday, April 17 from 4 pm to 7 pm to celebrate the opening of the Carousel, Tortilla Street Food and Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams. This is our annual, informal friends-and-family gathering with a block-party-meets-beer-garden vibe.

 

Here’s what to expect:

 

• New this year: officially welcome spring and celebrate our gardens in bloom with a Build-Your-Own-Bouquet Bar facilitated by Petals That Inspire, made possible by our landscaping partner, EMI.

• Grab a complimentary Columbus Commons tote bag, screen-printed on-site by Rewind Press. 

• Groove to tunes from Honey & Blue, thanks to Class Acts Entertainment.

• Sample our Middle West Spirits signature specialty cocktail made with OYO Stonefruit Vodka and Lemonade, or any cold beverage from the bar. The first one is on us and served with a smile by the CAPA team. 

• Grab a complimentary bite from our on-site Mexican street food café Tortilla, or one of our featured food trucks.

• Savor a complimentary scoop from the Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams shop at the Commons.  

• Check out the new Little Free Library made possible by The Friends of The Columbus Metropolitan Library. 

• Need a memento for the kids in your life? Ask Jeni’s or Tortilla for a complimentary coloring and activity book as a souvenir. 

• And don’t forget to take a spin on the Carousel. It’s free and open daily through September.
