Free Family Fun Day

Saturday, May 26 from 4pm - 8pm

Summer 2018 is kicking off with one of our favorites – Family Fun Day, sponsored by COTA! From 4-8 pm, the whole family will be able to bounce and play, make crafts, get your face painted, ride the carousel and so much more. The event is free to attend; a $5 wristband will get you access to all of the inflatables.
Blankets and chairs are welcome; please leave coolers at home. Food trucks will be onsite and the Commons' cafes Tortilla & Jeni’s will also be open.
Activities Include:

- Putt-Putt
- Carousel Rides
- Planting Station –thanks to Lowe's Home Improvement

- Plus we’ll have some surprise visits from special characters and performers!
*A $5 wristband can be purchased at the Info Tent by the carousel to provide unlimited access to the inflatables. Wristband sales will stop at 7:15 pm. Inflatables will close at 7:45 pm
Stick around for a free movie afterward – sing along to “The Greatest Showman” starting at 8:15 pm!
Parking is $5 at the Underground Garage (191 S. Third St) or at the Main Garage (55 E. Rich St). Pre-pay now and reserve your spot!

Free Movie Night

Enjoy a free showing of The Greatest Showman right after our Family Funday!
Bring the whole family down to enjoy the Family Fun Day festivities from 4pm – 8pm and then settle down with a blanket or lawn chair under the stars for a free flick (no coolers please!).
The Greatest Showman (2017) is rated PG and is 106 minutes long.
When attending a movie event at Columbus Commons, please feel welcome to bring the following:
- Lawn or folding chairs
- Breathable blankets
- Picnic baskets (we reserve the right to search bags
- Food and non-alcoholic beverages (food and beverages will be sold at the event as well)
- Bicycles, providing they are locked up at appropriate bike racks throughout the park
The following items will not be permitted:
- Alcoholic beverages
- Plastic Tarps
- Tents
- Staked umbrellas

Free Shadowbox Live Concert

Sunday, May 27 at 6pm
Come on down and catch a FREE Shadowbox Live performance Sunday, May 27 at the Columbus Commons, thanks to our sponsor Hertz Investment Group. Starting at 6:00pm, grab dinner at a food truck, a drink at the bar, and then settle down for the performance.
You are in for a treat as the talented team from Shadowbox performs Which One's Pink? A tribute to the legendary band Pink Floyd split into two parts, Act 1 tells the story of the band's founder, songwriter, and primary singer through some of their most well-known songs. Act 2 pays homage to the album Dark Side of the Moon, pairing the music with video excerpts and live action interpretation of The Wizard of Oz.
Food and drink vendors open at 6:00pm
Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome at this event, but please leave coolers at home. Parking is $5 at the Underground Garage (191 S. Third St) or at the Main Garage (55 E. Rich St). Pre-pay now and reserve your spot!
