Family Funday

Saturday, May 28 from 4 pm to 8 pm, followed by a free showing of The Good Dinosaur at 8:15pm

Mix it up at the Columbus Commons with activities focused on family-time. The 2016 event season begins with a budget-friendly Family Funday.  Big and small, guests can give the carousel a whirl, bounce on inflatables, work on their short game, or enjoy some makerspace arts.  Free to attend, $5 wristband for unlimited access to all activities. Please note that the inflatables will close at 7:45 pm in order to make way for movie goers.

New this year, we're partnering with Autism Speaks to open the event at 3 pm exclusively for families with children who have sensory sensitivity. We'll be keeping the crowds small so they can enjoy all of the normal event activities in a less overwhelming environment.

Stick around for a free movie at 8:15 pm – the family-friendly classic film, The Good Dinosaur, rated PG - presented by UnitedHealthcare Community Plan. They'll also be on site beforehand giving out some free goodies, so be sure to stop by their tent near Jeni's! Blankets and chairs are welcome; please leave coolers at home. Food trucks will be onsite, and the Commons' cafes Tortilla & Jeni’s will also be open.

 Activities Include:

Plus we’ll have some surprise visits from special characters and performers!
